    Pathbreaker or Partisan? How American Women See Kamala Harris

    On behalf of partner organization She the People, we conducted a custom poll of American women, with oversamples of Black, Latina, and Asian/Asian American women, in September of 2024.   • How should Democrats appeal to Black Men?

    During the 2024 campaign season, many pollsters argued that Black men were becoming more conservative, and that shifting to the center could help Democrats hold this constituency. Using both publicly available data and our own original polling, we assess this claim and find little evidence to support the idea that Black men—even younger Black men—are becoming more conservative.

  • To Reconnect with Black Voters, Engage More Directly on Race

    In late 2023, the first signs of diminished support among Black voters were visible.
